Guided Implant

Guided surgery is a method that allows the exact implant positions planned on the computer to be put into practice. In this method, guide plates with a guide hole are used, which are attached to neighboring teeth or tissues. Implant placement is performed by working through this guide hole, so that the implants are placed in the ideal position and human error is minimized.

Before the implant is placed, a CT scan is taken. The tomography images are combined with the person’s intraoral scan (digital impression) data. At this stage, the most appropriate implant positions are determined by examining the existing bone structure, neighboring anatomical formations and the bite relationships of the teeth. The three-dimensional locations, depths, angles and dimensions of the implants are decided in this way.

A customized surgical guide is designed and manufactured to ensure the specified positions. In addition, since the locations of the implants are known in advance, the temporary or permanent teeth to be attached to these implants can also be prepared before the procedure. Thanks to this method, the patient can leave the clinic with new teeth as well as implants.
